Using ampoules that aren't designed for laser delivery may cause irritation of the skin due to higher than normal absorption of preservatives & excipients, the traditional ampoules also doesn't have nanoparticle size & hence may not pass through the microchannels.

Lasemd ampoules have a higher bioavailability & penetration even after the laser opened micro-channels in skin close, patients are advised to use rest of ampoules after the treatment to top-up the benefit.

No, an expected mild transient redness & swelling is normal & will subside rapidly, the doctor may choose to apply topical moisturizer or corticosteroid for convenience.
